Giz and Carl had a backyard wedding. Their backyard just happens to be a massive farm out the back of the Gold Coast. I’d driven by their property a bunch of times and thought how good it looked for doing a photoshoot and when they booked me to be the photographer for their wedding I got to test it out. They put a heap of personal touches to their day making up planter boxes of succulents for the tables, converting an old milk cart into an esky, and making favours from produce off the farm. I think everyone there was blown away by how good it all looked and how amazing the location was. If the farming thing doesn’t work out I’m sure they could convert it into a wedding venue.
